   I like Charles Hamilton, but I think he’s so far from his potential. He’s too full of himself to even recognize when he’s wack. Like honestly Charles, nobody wants to hear you talk on your songs. Nobody. Nobody sits there and is like “oh nice, he’s gonna stop rapping and talk now.” I just wish he would stick to make dope songs. Full, realized songs. Maybe I’ll get what I’m looking for when he puts out an album.

   Damn, harsh words. Keep in mind that so far most of what we’ve heard from Charles is free music on themed mixtapes.

   I find Hamilton a special fella, ranging from epic to near-garbage in some few instances. It’s weird, but some lines are pure poetry, while some seem totally noobish. Guess my final verdict is that he’s a def worth listen, but if he’s to step out of the mixtape-world and into the real releases, he should step his game up a bit. But still, dig the dude, and like most of his work
