Last week Blitzen Trapper opened for the Fleet Foxes in Oregon. Fleet Foxes hopped on stage during the performance and added a little harmonizing and percussion to Blitzen Trapper’s most recent hit “Furr”. Prefix called it correctly when they said “so much flannel and so many beards”. That pretty much lets you know what to expect when these two rootsy rockers join forces. Even if you are a die-hard hater of bearded men in flannel, admit it, “Furr” is a good song. Sounds like something Bob Dylan could have written before he bleached his hair and started wearing keffiyahs
