John Legend – "Everybody Knows" (RAC Remix)

When you hear the word “remix” two things probably swarm into your sweet little honey filled brain. One is an original song with a loosely related Lil’ Wayne or Kanye West verse tacked on. The other is a lot of synthesizers, noisy drum kits, and a bothersome touch of clashing sounds. Luckily, that’s not what we have here. If you hadn’t heard the original “Everybody Knows”, you might think this is it. RAC does a good job of complimenting Legend with a backdrop that walks hand in hand with the vocals instead of trampling them and/or recklessly shitting all over them. Saw it at PMA.
