Okay, okay. Time for something controversial. I know some people are thinking “Leave this young man alone. He made a mistake, and he has to deal with it. But it’s none of our business.” I know other, more ruthless people are thinking “Fuck this dude! He deserves what comes to him.”
I won’t go into too much detail into my personal opinion. There are enough loudmouths out there to judge and/or condemn others for judging. But I will say this: Why the fuck did Chris Brown agree to do this? I don’t think anyone will watch this and think better/buy more albums because of it. Chris shows up in a powder blue sweater, a bowtie, lightbulbs pierced through each ear, and a fresh zig-zag shaved into the side of his head. He then appears to be completely speechless when asked the obvious questions about what happened, allowing his lawyer and his mother to articulate for him. The whole thing just seems inappropriate considering the circumstances.
