Drake vs. Massive Attack – "House Forever" (DJ Docta Dawe Mash-Up)

In case you were unaware of why so many mash ups were coming out this week, today marks the 5th anniversary of the term ‘mash-up’ being added to the Music Terms, Language, and Classification book (a must read if you’ve never seen it). Mash-ups have been around for a long time, but 5 years ago on this day the term ‘mash-up’ was made official and added to what most music lovers consider the defining literature of music. Let’s celebrate.

Here is DJ Docta Dawe mixing Massive Attack’s “Teardrop” and Drake and Eminem’s verses from “Forever”. I didn’t think these two songs would mix, but it makes for a pretty cool mash. Oh, and I made up all that shit above, sucker. Just been a lot of mash-ups lately. Don’t question it.
