After exploding on the scene and infiltrating the internets with an army of mixtapes and a steady flowing river of controversy, Charles Hamilton soon after disappeared as quickly as he came. His website vanished, his Twitter remained inactive, and the music stopped coming. Months passed. Rumors crawled out of holes in the ground and speculations mustered up the bravery to emerge from the dark corners of closets they had been hiding in. Eventually people moved on and picked other futures to predict. It seemed like Charles’ buzz, both positive and negative, had officially fizzled out.
Then came signs of life. It started with a billboard in LA exclaiming “Charles Hamilton Is Back”. Then the video dropped of graffiti artist Revok doing the billboard and a new song playing in the background. Yesterday Charles Tweeted for the first time in almost half a year, saying new music is on the way. Love him or hate him, Charles Hamilton is back. You got a taste of this song in that video that dropped. Here’s the full thing. What’s next? He’s got a project dropping December 9th called The Normalcy Project. What do you think?
