Honestly, I’m a little surprised that my blog is still here after Blogger’s rampage today. The switch to WordPress is coming together nicely and I can breathe a little easier knowing that I’ve got the whole blog backed up on a WordPress site just waiting to get designed so I can make this official. I can also breathe easier knowing that if Blogger does delete my blog at this point, I can call them suckers and dream killers and suggest that they go get fucked. Rest in peace to all the fallen blogs. *Pours out cup of Orangina onto carpet*
Back to the music. This is the first I’ve heard from Oregon group Baby Monster, and I’m loving it. It’s a pop song that’s crafted around some great production and has the catchiness that a pop song should have without any of that bubble gum flavor. Synths, a crisp beat, an active bass, and slightly distant, layered echoing vocals singing wonderful melodies. This is a keeper.
