New! Travie McCoy – "Billionaire"
“Billionaire” is the first single from Travie’s (of Gym Class Heroes) upcoming solo album called Lazurus. The song has a little reggae feel to it (think Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, not Bob Marley, Peter Tosh), and it’s a little corny (especially with the multiple Oprah references), but you had to expect that, right? It’s uplifting, and I think Gym Class Hero fans will approve. This is the clean version. I’ll exchange it with the dirty if I see it.

I think a better way to describe it is as having a ska feel to it.
I like this though, kind of corny, but Travis is solid.
Yeah you could be right. I still can’t always distinguish reggae from ska. I usually associate ska with a quicker tempo.
You actually got me to go out looking for the difference and I found an awesome video. I’m about to post it.
