M.I.A. - HatersM.I.A. continues her verbal assault on The New York Times and journalist Lynn Hirschberg. The paper published a misquoted cover story, the singer claims. M.I.A. then posted clips of the interview on her record company’s blog which included the new song, “Haters.” Let’s not forget that M.I.A. also posted Hirschberg’s cell phone number on her Twitter this past Thursday. Maybe childish but i don’t care. I only adore her more.
At least she’s a pop figure that cares. Not in that “look at me I’m so giving” kind of way but legitimate care. People will find fault in ANYTHING. Me on the other hand, I think she’s the best thing to happen to popularized music.
She’s probably the best candidate to change the pop music scene. Bitches need to stop complaining about her personal opinions. Gaga IS an imitator, deal. And okay maybe there are some obscurities if not ambiguous aspects of her process of speech. The way Hirschberg manipulated her interview was a dirty ploy to gain her own notoriety. I hope The Times dumps her ass to pushing mail carts.
