Here’s a first for Pigeons and Planes – I heard this song yesterday in an email and went to post. I Googled the name of the band and song to get some more information and see who else was up on it, and surprise, I posted it back in April. I think I’m somewhere in the 4,000′s for total posts (wow, fuck, right?) but I’ve never completely blanked on a post like this. Oh well, at least my taste is consistent.
Luckily, today I got my hands on the above video, so I have another excuse to post, other than “I forgot I already posted this track”. I don’t mean to make this song sound completely forgettable, because it’s not (my memory is ehh at best, and sometimes I post with the quickness (something that you learn to do after over 4,000 posts (you see that double triple parentheses usage?))) I think part of the reason I instantly loved it yesterday is because I heard it back in April and it settled somewhere in my subconscious next to other good things that have gone forgotten until something triggers them. Like when I drank sangria for the first time this summer and thought “I forgot how much I love sangria”. Enjoy.
