I scooted over to the computer to find out the artist on shuffle I was shuffling to was King Charles. King Charles is the newest of the UK rock/pop/dance/all around awesome musical imports. I haven’t found much on him other than he has fantastic hair and he’s currently working on his debut album. “Love Lust,” his first single, has been out for a couple months now and is simply lovely. Bop-y pop-y perfection this song kinda sounds like Bon Iver on coke. The simple message, “love will set your soul on fire,” is paired with some wicked guitar shredding and pretty piano. It hooks you from the first stanza.
