The trend of free mixtapes is really spreading out of hip-hop into the indie field, and it’s fucking fantastic. After jj‘s Kills mixtape that dropped earlier today, The Klaxons have released a free EP called Landmarks of Lunacy. Next up is the new Gorillaz album. It’s really cool to see how the internet is affecting the music industry before our eyes, and the fact that the music being released for free is legitimately good is a constant surprise to me. I haven’t listened to The Klaxons since their first album, but I’m liking this. You can download or stream the EP HERE, or stream the first track off the EP below.
