This Swedish duo creates ghostly, atmospheric tunes that are unmistakably their own, but they’ve got this thing for contemporary urban hits. It’s so left field – a soft, echoing, eerie voice over a slow melody, singing things like “Fuck all these hoes, get a grip”. Mmm, so good. Credit to GvB.
This time, jj takes on The-Dream‘s “Right Side Of My Brain”, for a track that may be off their upcoming mixtape Kills, due on Christmas Eve. I’m glad that indie artists are finally picking up this whole mixtape concept.
