I think I’ve found one of my favorite new artists. Conner Youngblood. With the last track he shared, “Monsters“, I was completely sold. It was a little dark, but his sense of melody was so on point. It’s the kind of stuff that strikes a chord with me, deeper than a catchy chorus or a beat that makes me nod my head. It’s the kind of music that feels more like a memory, or like déjà vu. I don’t know, maybe it’s the banjo -Sufjan Stevens and Bela Fleck always had the same effect on me. Whatever it is, I’m loving it. Conner says:

haha yeah sorry about the covers, Apple Paintbrush is all I got…I try to get my money’s worth. Plus, I think that paintbrush/paint are still totally awesome
