Brooklyn based indie-experimentalists Yeasayer – putting the “mental” in experimental. Well, not really, but someone should use that as their tagline. Or not. Whatever. I’m having one of those days where I start off with high hopes of getting things done, and slowly realize throughout the day that none of them will get done. I therefore am reduced to making bad puns to amuse myself. Apologies.
Anyway, Yeasayer’s Odd Blood was one of my favourite records of 2010, and here are two songs that didn’t quite make it onto that album. They were released on limited edition vinyl for Record Store Day, will be available digitally May 3, and have made their way on to the internet. Listen below.
