Soulja Boy & Young L – “All Gold Everything”

I was hesitant to post this, because it’s very, very simple. But I really, really like it, so here you go. Soulja Boy teams up with Young L, a rapper in and the producer for The Pack, who is actually an insanely talented beatmaker and should definitely be working with better rappers. His creativity is tapped here, the beat on this is dope. If satellites could make music it might sound like this. It creates as good a backdrop as possible for “all gold, all gold everything” to be chanted for minutes on end.

Agree on Young L, I’ve been listening to The Pack for at least 4-5 years now and their beats have always been a lot of fun (though I have to admit I haven’t listened to them recently, do they still put out new music with Lil B doing his own thing?). That said, Soulja Boy absolutely murdered this track, and I don’t mean the good connotation. Does he even have any sense of rhythm? He reminds me of Steve Martin in The Jerk. Bro, learn how to rap along with a beat that isn’t extremely straightforward. Someone else does indeed need to hop on this beat and soon.
