P&P is in the midst of a transition phase. You’ve seen it happening. Over time, and with this new redesign, we’ve started to feel slightly more professional, like we should start putting “thought” into what we say and tone down the personal ramblings that expose how weird and maladjusted we are. But Meg Myers just entered the picture. Can a blogger get creepy for a minute?
You know I’ve got my Lykke Li thing, but it’s starting to seem like a lost cause. At some point in every blogger’s life, a blogger has to expand his or her options. When I first heard/saw Meg Myers, I was instantly in love. I shared my new love with Midas and he also expressed interest, ensuring a conflict within the P&P team that will undoubtedly end in violence. For Meg Myers, it’s worth it. We will be watching closely in 2K12.
Meg channels some 80s & 90s female-forces-to-be-reckoned-
with like Sinead O’connor, Siouxsie Sioux, and Fiona Apple and is destined to carry on the tradition those ladies started. On the production side, we have been taking inspiration from a wide span of 90s alternative music (from Nirvana —> Portishead) and sprinkling in some 2012 drums and synths.
Watch an acoustic version of the song below…

Jesus Christ. Count me in. Into the Sampler this goes. hate me later, Im gonna go make music sex to this song. later.

Giggity.

The acoustic version was fucking awesome.
I’ve been in love with her voice ever since she appeared on Dr Rosen Rosen’s “GIRLS” EP.
