First of all, I want to thank Based God.
The Recommender has done their yearly Best Music Blogs post, in which they get music blogs to vote on their favorite music blogs. Blogs on blogs on blogs, or something. It’s becoming like the Grammys for music blogs, except slightly less pretentious, because most bloggers have deflated egos and low senses of self-worth (excluding hip-hop bloggers–they love themselves).
For the second year in a row, Pigeons & Planes has come in at number 2. Just wanted to take this chance to brag, but then, about halfway through this post, I realized that coming in second in a list of best music blogs made by other music blogs is a weird thing to blog about. It’s even weirder when, towards the end of the blog post about coming in second in a list of best music blogs made by other music blogs, I start pointing out how weird it is that I’m blogging about it. Stop now, Confusion, your thank you speech is going terribly. *Music starts playing, Confusion vomits and is dragged back into the basement*
