Roots Video: The Roots Perform Tip The Scale and The Other Side on Fallon

It must have been kind of nice for The Roots to take center stage last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The show’s house band performed two renditions of “Tip The Scale” and “The Other Side” off of their first concept album, undun. They get a little help from Bilal, D.D. Jackson, and the Metropolis Ensemble (in charge of the strings), but shit gets real when ?uestlove and D.D. Jackson go HAM during their performance of “Tip The Scale.”

    I know! I was telling Con how cool ?uestlove is when I was watching this clip. He is so damn nonchalant about how incredible he is too, and I think that’s the coolest thing.
