One of our favorite producers, SBTRKT, who really broke through into the music world’s consciousness with last year’s self-titled debut album, popped down to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge the other day, and played a couple of songs with frequent collaborator, and live show partner Sampha. First up is an extended seven minute plus version of the superb “Hold On” (which will be released as a single with “Ride To Freedom” as the B-side), followed by a great cover of Friendly Fires’ “Blue Cassette” – a standout from 2011′s album Pala.
