The Oh Hello’s – ‘The Oh Hello’s EP’

hello The Oh Hellos The Oh Hellos EP

The Oh Hello’s is a brother/sister duo out of Angelton, Texas, which cite acts such as Mumford & Sons and Los Campesinos! as some of their sources of influence, so you can imagine what they might sound like. As described by the duo, they’ve created a “unique mixture of eclectic folk rock,” a beautiful combination of honesty and heart.

Their self-titled EP was released back in December and can be purchased on their Bandcamp at a price of your choice. A stand-out off of the EP is the first track, “Hello My Old Heart,” which begins with the Heaths’ expressive vocals and eventually swells into an uplifting clap-along. Shoutout to The Music Ninja for the heads up.

I liked this lead track Oh Hello My Old Heart, but they sound too much like the Head and the Heart, who I think play this sound a lot better.

  2. LD says:

Good find. I like their sound, too.
