Every once in a while the ShoutMix gets a useful comment from an actual person, not a shameless self-promoting spam robot that just happened to be “blog walking” by. Today someone named Jits pointed out that 19-year-old rapper Tory Lanez recently dropped this new track, “Remembrance Day”. Good find.
I personally hadn’t heard of Lanez before, so did a bit of research prior to this post and came up with the following three facts;
- He’s from Toronto (yay Canada!)
- He’s taken a liking to ink (standard rapper procedure)
- He’s already had beef with Justin Bieber (civil war?)
We should also expect to hear a full mixtape from him soon entitled Sincerely, Tory. Aside from the vocal similarities to another well-known Toronto rapper, how are you feeling about this jam?

Lanez has a few mixtapes.. dude can spit and actually has some serious vocals when it comes to R&B.. anyways good to see Lanez gettin some exposure on this site
Tory Lanez has been a frequent post on FE. He’s got all the tools to be the next big thing, and he’s signed to Sean Kingston’s Time Is Money label too. His singing blows his rapping away but there are tracks that he just bodies too. He’s gonna be big.
