WZRD – “Teleport 2 Me, Jamie”

WZRD Teleport 2 Me WZRD Teleport 2 Me, Jamie

We’ve heard a snippet and a live rendition, and now we have the album version of “Teleport 2 Me, Jamie,” by Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius (collectively WZRD). Cudder turned 28 yesterday, and what better way to celebrate than to make some $$ by putting his track up on iTunes? I can only think of a few better ways, but it’s probably best that Cudi chose this one.

Check out “Teleport 2 Me” below, and look out for the WZRD album dropping February 28th.

Ughhh this is awful. Cudi is dope when he’s rapping, but this doesn’t do it for me.

  5. usagi says:

    he is actually 28

maybe i’m just a nerd, but teleport to me captures the same feeling as a poem by Elizabeth Bishop called “Invitation to Miss Marianne Moore.” I hope this album will get Cudi back to the level of accesible honesty that made “Kid Named Cudi” one of the best mixtapes ever.

    thanks @usagi

Really excited for this album, both songs are different but definitely groovy.

Though, the font choice on the single art pretty much makes me want to sacrifice a litter of kittens. Why do artists insist on using fonts found on every basic PC?

The Desire feature isn’t much more than the sampling of the song Under Your Spell (Drive OST), but I really likes it.

wow i dont know if i was in a bad mood when i heard the first version or if it was that much different but this version is much better to me. i am actually getting stoked to hear this album instead of covering my eyes and ears in embarrassment for one of my favorite artists as i first felt. i feel ashamed i didnt believe.
