Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used To Know” is spreading slowly and widely. The song has been out since early last year, and when the video hit YouTube in July, the buzz started to swell. Here we are a month into 2012 and shit is getting real. The “Somebody That I Used To Know” video now has over 57 million views, and the song is an undeniable international hit. The U.S. is always a little slow on these kinds of things, but the track seems to get bigger with each passing day.

I think a big reason for this song’s success was from this cover that Walk off the Earth did, it has 45 million views on youtube.
