Some of you may recall back in early February when we shared “Female Robbery”, the debut track from California-based rock collective The Neighbourhood. A number of you may also recall immensely enjoying the tune and requesting further material from the group when available. Turns out Jesse Rutherford and the rest of his band members were pretty stoked we shared it as well, so much so that they’ve granted us an audio premiere and exclusive download of their new song, “Sweater Weather”. I’m personally very pleased with what I’m hearing out of these guys, as is BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe, who has been playing this new track repeatedly on his program and even included it on his Hottest Record Blog.
Have a stream of “Sweater Weather” below and get a sneak peek trailer of the song’s new video, which will be premiering on NME.com tomorrow.
