Video: Chester French – “Black Girls”

Chester French Black Girls Video: Chester French Black Girls

Real talk? When I saw news of something called “Black Girls” by Chester French, I checked into it because of the title and had actually forgotten that Chester French was a band. How terrible of me, I know. I saw a lot of potential in them early on, but the buzz seemed to fade. Regardless, Chester French are back, and they remind us of that with this new video. Can you think of a better way to get people’s attention than by celebrating biracial lesbianism in your video? I can’t.

Didn’t like the song on first play yesterday, but it is catchy for sure and looking forward to their next album. Their debut was great from start to finish along with their mixtape. And DA has been strong on songs with Talib, Asher and Rick Ross. Great band and pretty good song, not sure about all the hate from the author.

That was awesome. Is that really the lead singer of Chester French?

I really like the verses, they remind of some other band that I can’t think of right now, but the chorus kinda ruins it for me, can’t stand it, don’t really know why, too poppy maybe. Can’t hate on a vid though.

Lead singer, DA is not in the video but has guested on a lot of songs this past year. Hope that answers your question

Yeah, yeah, I know he did a lot of hooks last year, but I mean it reminds me of a totally different band that is not in any way affiliated with them. But thanks anyway.

The video is in black and white. I see what they did there.

Love it. Its catchy and the lyrics are actually highly intelligent. not sure why the author tried so hard to knock it down but to each his own :)

I love it. I didn’t the first time I watched the video because I was expecting something more Jacques Jam-y. Then I listened to it without the visuals and really dug it.

    Billie is right, shits smart.
