ANTHM ft. Blu – “Polaris”

polaris ANTHM ft. Blu Polaris

We’ve been hearing from ANTHM (formerly Anthem) for a while, and he’s seemed a little all over the place. One day he’ll be spitting some pop-friendly lines over an indie beat, and the next he’ll be on his Mobb Deep shit. If you’re talking about style, he’s inconsistent as fuck. But as inconsistent as his style may be, he’s steadily improved. With each release he gets a little more precise, a little more confident.

For “Polaris” he teams up with Blu for some lyrically focused hip-hop over an ethereal backdrop. ANTHM’s EP, Joy & Pain, will be released in second week of June. ANTHM and Blu are also working on a joint EP that will be out later in the year.
