July 4th is right around the corner, and now we’ve got another taste of Childish Gambino‘s forthcoming mixtape. Today, Glover revealed the title of his project, and no, it isn’t Independence Day (no guarantees that the cover art won’t feature him standing in front of the American flag, though). Instead, the tape will be titled Royalty. On top of sharing the tape’s title, he also let loose a new song during his appearance on Sway in the Morning. Listen below.

UPDATE: According to Mostly Junk Food, that first verse is Steve G Lover III, who happens to be Donald’s brother.

    meh. I know its a mixtape but there are barely one or two quoteable lines in the whole song. I expect a little more CG. Definitely stoked for Royalty to drop though.
