Video: Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha-T & 2 Chainz – “Mercy”

When this song comes on at any function, shit gets critical!! We were told that this video was going to drop sometime this week and here we have it. Check out the official video for “Mercy” by Yeezy, Big Sean, Pusha & Tity 2 Necklaces directly below. The G.O.O.D. Music compilation album titled Cruel Summer will be here this summer! Sounds like a fitting title to me.

  • fomenter

watch it w/out sound and see just how stupid of a video it is.

  • rivertems

@fomenter… you realise that applies to 98% of all music videos, right? But on a more related note, that was super boring.

  • Mercy

    Tity 2 Necklaces. hahaha

  • a guest but not really

was that cudi making an appearance dancing ? whoever it was that was the only part i liked.

  • Max

Kanye should have just stuck with the flashy cars and jewels for this song. No point in trying to get creative for such a simple song.

  • debonair

you guys are crazy. this video is in the same vein as otis was. just a buncha guys having fun. too many hilarious gifs are gonna come from this.

  • Chopz

@max i wouldn’t even say it was a complex video, just some flashy camera tricks and editing.

I don’t know about you guys, but I thought that video was fine. Perhaps the G.O.O.D. Music crew is too busy to make something so lavish. You already know they got money and bitches so including more of that in the video would be unecessary.

  • shep

this video is genius. the editing is incredible and the art direction is pure kanye. that’s definitely cudi dancing around, and i’m willing to bet they filmed this right after they filmed Cruel Summer.

this album is gonna be an instant classic, probably better than WTT. Pusha T and Kanye is such a great combo, and having Big Sean in there too is great.

starting to get sick of Tity Boi. he was really annoying in this video.

  • Daniel

I agree with everything shep said.

  • CK

I enjoyed it. The terrorist symbolism was obvious, but I don’t think it detracted from the video at all. I have to agree with shep about the editing, it is incredible. Somebody spent a shitton of time editing this. And the direction is cool too, overall I liked it. Then again, I’m a huge Kanye fan, he’d have to fuck something up pretty bad for me to not like it.

Sony just announced a new television just to compliment the aspect ratio of this video. It has HD, no 3D, no A/V or RF inputs, no color, no menu, no remote.

Its only purpose is to play this video. And you can’t afford it.

  • Adam

Cudi was by far the best part.

  • Abu Saud

Wearing the keffiyeh, a common piece of clothing worn among Arabs, on their heads is considered “terrorist symbolism” CK? Really?

  • Captain Obvious

This video kind of just left me wanting more, but not in a good way. I will agree with some on here and say that the editing is fantastic. Perhaps the performance left more to be desired and, as a result, the video failed to deliver.

I’m a huge fan of Ye, a native Detroiter so of course I’m big on Sean and of course Pusha is a monster so I suppose I can live with this video. However, my personal gauge for whether I really like a vid or not is if I decide to share on Facebook and this one just doesn’t pass the test.

  • Andre

Something about this video was off to me. I feel like Ye’s body language was weird.

I also got the sense that they were lip syncing which isn’t normal in music vids. But overall it’s still pretty good.

  • Liz

I really liked this video, at first I thought it was gonna be boring, but then with the switch up at every Swerve I really got into it. Love the art direction.
Def agree that Cudi is the best part here if anything bc his dancing is ridic, I rewound it 3 times bc it gave me the giggles, lolol.
