With Channel Orange digitally liberated (on iTunes, you silly pirates), Frank Ocean took the stage on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform the gorgeous, controversial “Bad Religion,” one of the songs replacing expected “she’s” with “he’s” and sparking the controversy that led to last week’s beautiful letter. With a string section, the Roots, and one of Channel Orange‘s best (and likely to be most discussed) tracks in tow, Ocean delivered a performance both lush and reservedly emotional.
