What did you expect from Odd Future? Did you think they were actually going to sit down, put on straight faces, and speak seriously about Frank Ocean’s recent coming out letter? Highly unlikely.
Instead, they flip this interview into a comedy skit, pretending that Frank Ocean has just admitted that he loves bagels. Watch as Tyler and Earl go back and forth about finding out that after years of denying his love for bagels, Frank finally comes out and says it: “Yeah, I like bagels.”
My mom said she’d kick me out the house if I ever told her I fell in love with a bagel. And if I brought a doughnut home? … Whoooooo, don’t even get me started.
That is the best metaphor/analogy ever. Go them.
