The world may never truly understand Juggalos. From an outsider’s perspective, it’s a culture so far removed from the social norms that, unless you’re a part of it, you most likely can’t relate. That alone is an amazing feat, if you think about it—a bunch of “outsiders” band together, form their own cultural niche, and make the “normal” people suddenly feel like the ones out of the loop, engendering rare sympathy and constant mockery alike.
If you’ve ever been to, read about, or watched videos from the yearly Gathering Of The Juggalos, you know how important a sense of community is for these people. It’s all about acceptance and openness, and although they may appear to be a bunch of scary-looking clowns to some, they’ve actually created a kind of beautiful thing. Let us marvel at it.
