Highlights From Domo Genesis and Alchemist’s “No Idols”

Yesterday, Domo Genesis and Alchemist released their anticipated No Idols project, featuring eleven tracks of the particular dusty, dark, loop-driven production that Alc has been sharpening over the last few years. Domo sounds as engaged as ever, and it’s nice to hear an Odd Future project that steps away from the sonic comfort zone that accompanied the collective’s ascent. No Idols also features contributions from Prodigy, Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, Space Ghost Purrp, Smoke DZA, and OF standbys Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler the Creator. Check out two of the highlights, “Power Ballad” and “The Daily News,” below and download the whole project here.
