william Will.I.Am and NASA Will Broadcast A Song From Mars

For years, rappers, rockers, and pop stars have been obsessed with space, so it makes sense that Will.I.Am. is taking his music to another planet. The Black Eyed Peas leader is teaming up with NASA to broadcast a new song called “Reach For The Stars” from the Curiosity rover on Mars. It premieres tomorrow at 4 p.m. EST as part of an educational event and will stream live on NASA’s website, where they call the new song a “composition about the singer’s passion for science, technology and space exploration.”

For more info on the event, check NASA’s site.

Will.I.am is such a derp. But this is still kinda cool, no matter how pointless it may seem.

All rappers who talk about how they’re an “alien” and their style isn’t of this planet and whatnot… FALL BACK, HOMIES.

Am I allowed to nominate a better artist to represent Earth’s first musical broadcast from Mars?
