Ben Folds Five – “Draw A Crowd”

Ben Folds Ben Folds Five Draw A Crowd

Ben Folds may be getting older, but he’s staying youthful with a quirky sense of humor. This playful nature came across in “Erase Me,” and he takes it to a new level with “Draw A Crowd,” singing, ”If you’re feeling small and you can’t draw a crowd/Draw dicks on a wall.”

For some, this might be a corny old uncle kind of humor that doesn’t mesh well with an aging artist that seems to be moving in the wrong direction on the maturity level track, but longtime fans should be familiar with this side of Ben, and the songwriting is on par.

Quirky but it was pretty much to be expected with Ben Folds like you said. I’ve dug everything I’ve heard so far.

Couldn’t agree more, I’m just excited that they are putting out more music. Can’t wait till the 18th, definitely picking this one up on hardcopy.

Pumped to hear this album o Tuesday. Do It Anyway is still my favorite from the early released songs.
