If you’re a fan of indie music, Twitter can be a lonely place. Our favorite rappers are tweeting all day, sending ridiculous 140-character messages out to the world and giving us glimpses into their personalities, their lives, and the ridiculous shit that pops in their head at 2 in the morning when they’re 8 blunts in. Indie acts, on the other hand, don’t seem to get it. They’re still getting PR people to handle their accounts and sending out boring ass messages like, “Cleveland, thank you for the great show. See you tomorrow, New York!”

From the hilarious and absurd to the intelligent and interesting, here are some people any indie fan should be following.
