Are there any other songs that scream “Halloween” louder than the classic funk of Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller?” The album of the same name is the best-selling album of all time, and this single helped catapult it (and Michael himself) into the stratosphere. The video for “Thriller” was conceived as a full length movie, with accomplished director John Landis (who’d done Trading Places, National Lampoon’s Animal House, An American Werewolf in London and others before taking on this project) was brought in to bring Michael’s vision to life, and the choreography from this video is part of Halloween dances (and wedding receptions) worldwide. As with any classic record, you’re bound to get all kinds of new versions and remixes, and “Thriller” is no exception.
