On an unusual, sobering night for much of America’s northeast dealing with the impact of Hurricane Sandy, Interpol frontman Paul Banks took the stage on Late Show With David Letterman to perform “Young Again” from his new album Banks. Though Letterman drolly compared the cover of Banks’ album to the grim, grey, dangling-crane atmosphere of NYC, Banks’ unadorned performance matched the mood of the evening perfectly.
