Is Snoop trolling? When word hit that Snoop was changing his name to “Snoop Lion” and working on a reggae album with Diplo, many laughed. Maybe he was a little too high, and was talking out of his ass. He kept talking about it, though. And it stopped being funny. Now this video for “La La La” (which was directed by Eli Roth, aka the director of Hostel) has hit your Internets, and we’re not sure what to think. Snoop hits the fake Patois all over this one, and it’s not something some might want to hear for an entire album. And it’s weird how his harmonizing and singing sound a lot better when it’s about ho’s and other ills in life. We’ll see if the Major Lazer crew can make this work. For now, watch Snoop Lion dance with kids, women and weird pot-smoking creatures.
