Upon hearing the news that Paul McCartney may be stepping in to perform with the surviving members of Nirvana at the 12.12.12 show, a lot of Nirvana fans were a little disgruntled. Nothing against the rock legend, but the 70-year-old former Beatle is a curious choice for a pairing with the iconic grunge band that once backed Kurt Cobain.
