This Frank Ocean/Chris Brown brawl has essentially become common knowledge now, but the details of what went down were never really clear—until now. Michael Uzowuru, who produces with Frank and OFWGKTA, was there with Frank that fateful night, and he shared a detailed account of what happened earlier today.
Uzowuru confirms that the fight was started over a parking spot. According to Ozowuru, Brown had parked in Frank Ocean’s spot, and when Uzowuru asked the front desk to move the car that belonged to Chris Brown, Brown then came out and met Frank, who told Brown, “You parked in my spot, move.” A “big dude” who was with Chris Brown punched Chito, someone who was with Uzowuru and Ocean, for “no reason.” Immediately after, “Chris and the other dude [grabbed Frank] and [tried] to jump him.” To Uzowuru, “there’s no doubt in [his] mind the whole thing was a set up.”
While the “big dude” worked on Chito, Chris and the “skinny dude” tackled Frank into a “big fake candle display laced with glass… Hence … his finger being cut.” Uzowuru adds, “Chris was trying to beat the living “s**t” out of [Frank].”
Frank Ocean confirmed earlier in the week via Tumblr that he will not be pressing charges against Chris Brown.
