Part of the interesting thing about music videos is that since they’re no longer slotted in spots for television playtime, the possibilities open up. For their latest clip, Beach House has opted out of the typical music video and partnered with Pitchfork for “Forever Still,” an almost half-hour short film showing the band performing in the desert near the Texas studio where they recorded Bloom.
From Beach House’s website:
We performed/recorded four songs from Bloom outdoors, in various locations that are special for us around El Paso and Tornillo, Texas. The film follows the passing of one night, starting at sunset and ending at dawn.
