Video: Big K.R.I.T. – “R.E.M.”

Big K.R.I.T. is readying his upcoming mixtape, King Remembered In Time, and today he drops the visuals for “R.E.M.” a new song off the record. The track is a smooth and thoughtful cut, a feeling that is further provoked by the addition of a sample of James Blake’s “The Wilhelm Scream”. The video captures this reflective state, almost quite literally, as K.R.I.T. wanders around a city in a dreamlike state and even encounters a double of himself. Take a look at the clip above.

I love K.R.I.T, all the mixtapes have been fire. I feel his momentum was killed by an underwhelming debut album, probably influenced by sampling restrictions etc etc. He sounds back on track here though!

I’m really liking this…not going to lie I was disappointed with Live From The Underground. I hope Krit keeps the good tracks coming like this one
