Wu Tang Clan – “Execution in Autumn”

wu Wu Tang Clan Execution in Autumn
It’s kind of cool to see a Wu-Tang Clan song on Bandcamp—it seems like an unlikely pairing but it’s a juxtaposition that reveals where the musical landscape of 2013 has taken us— straight into the digital era. Wu-Tang has promised a new album is in the works, A Better Tomorrow is slated for release in July, and this song is released from the personal vaults of RZA in what seems to be anticipation of the new release.

Although it’s unclear whether this previously unheard track “Execution in Autumn” will be on that record or not, but it features RZA, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, and U-God and will be made available as a 7″ by Soul Temple for as cheap as $0.50—another indicator of our current day and age. Fifty cents for a new Wu-Tang track on vinyl? Pay-what-you-feel indeed, just don’t forget about the shipping. Buy the 7″ here or stream the song below.
