Franz Ferdinand Takes on Grimes’ “Oblivion”

Despite the fact that the song is almost two years old, Grimes‘ “Oblivion” is still inspiring some pretty incredible covers. The latest to adopt the Visions single is none other than Franz Ferdinand, who stopped by French radio station Ouï FM in support of the release of their newly released album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action. Consider how much the styles of the artists differ, it’s not surprising that the band doesn’t stay entirely faithful to the original. But hey: sometimes, that’s just how covers go.
