Video: Big Sean – “Fire”

Big Sean has dropped the video for his new DJ Camper-produced single “Fire” and it features not his Glee star girlfriend Naya Rivera, but, hip-hop’s latest female crossover artist Miley Cyrus. The track covers everything from Sean’s trials and past experience being short changed to his subsequent success. He shouts out his father and even shouts out his grandmother’s advice in the song—but the video is all Miley, red roses, and fiery blocks of what looks like lava. The song will be on Big Sean’s sophomore album Hall Of Fame, which is out on August 27. Watch the clip below.

That chopped sweater outfit. Jesus, man.

I actually like it but I know ppl would never expect such an artsy video from Sean.

I have to say, I get the fashion oriented symbolist style of the video, but the way it is executed is such a convoluted pile of mediocrity that I’m more saddened by the fact that the visuals don’t match up with the power of the song.
