Albert Hammond Jr – “Rude Customer”

When you talk about The Strokes, most people think immediately of Julian Casablancas, with his signature sneering vocals and rockstar style, but Albert Hammond Jr makes a pretty good frontman himself, as evidenced on the two solo albums he’s previously released. He now has another solo EP on the way, and from the sounds of “Rude Customer” at least, it’ll be blistering rock and roll ride, fairly reminiscent of early Strokes material.

The AHJ EP is out October 8.

Albert FTW. The Strokes have always had some pretty legit solo ventures.
