Kanye West Previews New Music on Yeezus Tour

With Kanye West‘s Yeezus tour in full effect, concertgoers are getting a sneak peek at some unreleased material. Forty seconds of a song previously identified as “I Am Not Here” kicks in around the 2:45 mark. We only hear Kanye’s voice, the man himself choosing to remain behind the curtain while a group of women stand onstage in blank masks.

The aesthetic of this tour is starting to take shape—simultaneously minimalist and extravagant, Kanye’s sets are monolithic, only to be shattered by the artist’s outfit and presentation. This time around he, too, wears a mask for the start of “I Am A God” after the new track. The merchandise, meanwhile is fascinated with death, black, skeletons, and God. I was actually trying to figure out what I could use as a mask. I wish I could make one like Kanye. haha

  • some guy

Seems like an interlude made specifically for the tour tbh
