As the end of 2013 nears, so do the imminent year-end lists that count down the best moments in music from this past year. BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, who’s been running the interview game, is taking a more democratic route. Sharing what he thinks are the 100 hottest records of 2013, he’s asking listeners to vote from the list, and he’ll count down to #1 as chosen by his listeners, starting on December 16. The top pick will be revealed on Thursday, December 19.
