This is essential watching for any fan of The Notorious B.I.G. or any person with even a passing interest in hip-hop. Although this fifteen minute long documentary from 1995 has been on YouTube since August, chances are you haven’t seen this revealing footage of Biggie back on the Brooklyn streets where he hustled, at his mom’s house, and in the studio with Junior M.A.F.I.A. and Faith Evans, where there’s some pretty incredible footage of the rapper concealing his weapon in a handbag so it’s close by when someone he clearly doesn’t trust comes into the studio.
Watch the short documentary, which first aired on Channel 4′s Passengers program in the UK, above.
